Prerequisites
Before you begin:- A Shopify store with products listed
- Admin access to your Shopify account

Step-by-Step Guide

Navigate to New Agent
From your dashboard, click New Agent.

Select 'Connect Shopify'
Choose the Connect Shopify option.

Enter Your Store URL
Provide your Shopify store URL:or your custom domain:

Authorize Wassist
You’ll be redirected to Shopify to authorize Wassist. Grant the requested permissions so we can:
- Read your product catalog
- Access order information (for order status queries)
- Read customer data (for personalized support)
Wassist only reads data from your store. We never modify your products, orders, or customer records.

Wait for Sync
Wassist imports your:
- Products and variants
- Collections
- Store policies (shipping, returns, etc.)
- Store information

Customize Your Agent
Review the generated agent and customize:
- Adjust the welcome message
- Add specific instructions for your brand voice
- Configure which features to enable (order lookup, etc.)

Configuring Order Lookup
To enable order status queries:- Go to your agent’s Tools section
- Enable Order Lookup
- Configure verification method:
- Phone Number Match — The customer’s WhatsApp number must match the order
- Order Number + Email — Customer provides order number and email
Keeping Products Synced
Your Shopify catalog updates automatically every 24 hours. For immediate sync:- Go to your agent’s Settings
- Click Sync Now under Shopify Integration
